Fabric, Aluminum, Wood Awnings vs Canofix
Some of the most common awnings we have seen are fabric awnings, aluminium awnings, and wooden structures. Though good at offering coverage from the rain and snow, these types of awnings also have the downside of giving too much coverage from the sun. And thus not letting any natural light seep into the home.
Many of our customers have mentioned that they did not expect the lack of natural light to be an issue when getting their fabric, aluminium, or wood awnings initially. But over time, they found themselves wishing for more natural light in their home.
Our Canofix awnings are a good solution, as they are strong and durable, UV protected on both sides, allow natural light into your home, are weather resistant, and on top of that, have a modern design, making them a good addition to your home.
Other Polycarbonate Awnings vs Canofix
Polycarbonate awnings themselves are unique in that polycarbonate, while being lightweight are shatter resistant and strong enough that they are virtually unbreakable.
Our Canofix awnings are even more unique in that contrary to other polycarbonate awnings on the market, our awnings are always custom cut to exactly what the customer needs in a single panel, not made up of precut panels that have pieced together that might result in leaks over time.
We also use polycarbonate panels that are solid not hollow. Hollow panels, while they may be cheaper, do not stand up to the elements for long as the hollow spaces can become gathering points for mold and dust and results in a weaker awning that may get easily warped and discoloured much quicker than our Canofix awnings.
